All our support packages are designed to assist you with emergency (re)configuration problems with Unix-based operating systems on your servers, as well as provide you with any general advice on any aspects of your unix servers as required. Our support staff have over 10 years experience working with Unix systems so any specific technical questions can be asked via email or telephone.
An overview of the main features of our packages is provided below.
Free email support
Sometimes a small but important issue can be resolved within the hour by email. This cover is included in all packages and allows a problem to be resolved without incurring any telephone incident charges.
Telephone support
Sometimes a problem requires a detailed analysis. To help with these incidents we provide telephone support. On our standard package, telephone incidents are permitted during office hours, (9am - 5:30pm UK local time).
For 24/7 telephone coverage, our Silver and Gold packages offer competitive rates.
Telephone incidents are charged as listed and indicate an hourly rate, (i.e. if a second call is made within an hour from the start of the first call, you will only be charged once). All incident charges are invoiced at the end of the month in which they occur.
24 hour cover
Our Standard support package is designed to let you outsource your Linux and Unix skills to us. This represents a huge cost saving on employing a single Unix specialist in your organization.
However, our cover really shines with the Silver and Gold packages in which you are able to call on us for help with system issues at any time of the day or night. (Note: packages do not include on-site visits). On site visits will only be made by prior arrangement and will typically be charged at our standard daily rate.
Remote login support
For some situations, you may not have or want to engage in technical discussion, you may have one or more servers that require occasional maintenance and emergency support. In this situation, our Gold package is ideal as it allows Crossbone Systems engineers to troubleshoot your systems remotely.
